E&L Airsoft AK74N A102 AEG Airsoft Rifle (Wood)
[O09B00][17549 / ELAK AEG A102 74N]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
E&L is new to the airsoft industry but is quickly becoming known for manufacturing some of the highest quality airsoft guns on the market to date. E&L creates their AK AEGs in the same process used to create the airsoft gun's firearm counterparts; however, E&L uses a process which changes the stamped steel AK receivers from a firearm component into a shell capable of accepting a Version 3 Gearbox. E&L is focused on making their line of airsoft guns as aesthetically realistic as possible. E&L Airsoft has teamed up with other companies in the airsoft industry to produce high performance and high quality internals for their AEGs. All E&L AKs use standard Version 3 gearboxes which can accept any Marui-compatible components.
The E&L AK74N is an exact 1:1 replica all the way down to the details, this AK74N is an immaculate signature of E&L's professional work and its quality is unmatched in the airsoft market. Externally, the gun features a full stamped steel body (receiver), top cover, barrel, gas tube, trigger, iron sights, and more. The gun itself has a bluish-steel gunmetal tint while the wood furniture has a clean stained finish just like its real-steel counterpart. Internally the AK74N come equipped with steel high torque gears, high torque motor, and reinforced piston for increased performance and durability.Specifications:

This product excels in realism and authenticity. Its beauty is its strength, but it is also its weakness. This product is far too demanding in both preparation and maintenance in my personal experience. It is a hassle to get started up, because its compatibility with batteries and magazines is very limited. It is a hassle to keep maintained, because the real wood is very fragile to being scraped and cosmetically damaged. Despite these shortcomings, this product has amazing weight and authenticity in regards to its real weapon counterpart. Overall, I say that this gun is best as a wall decoration and backyard shooter instead of a rough field weapon where it can be potentially dropped and/or cosmetically scarred.
Pros:
-Realistic weight
-Stamped steel receiver
-Deep etched firing mode labels in Russian
-Snappy fire selector lever
-Spring is easily accessible in the back of the stock
-Battery is easily accessible under the receiver cover
Cons:
-Picky about battery, hard to find a battery that physically fits into the receiver
-Picky about magazines (I heard that MAG, G&G, and CYMA magazines fit, I personally used CYMA)
-Barrel appears to be ever so slightly bent to the left (this is not a defect, I have looked at other units of this product and they were about the same); however, this does not seem to affect accuracy at all.
-Due to the wood being real, it is relatively fragile against scraping
-Too beautiful to use in the field without any worry of cosmetic damage
