Pros:
-High quality metal
-Thick glass lens

Cons:
-Glass is imperfect, so if you position your eyes more than a foot away from the sight, it will be distorted
-Reflects light and can give away position, but it is a short range sight so it should not be too much of a concern

I feel I should re-post a review because my previous one was just a first impression review. At the time it seemed like a great optic, but since then my opinion has changed. I have had this thing for about 5 months and I have some new things to report:
Pros:
-Cheap
-Easy to mount
-Great for novices, or for target shooting, nothing strenuous (will not hold up to wear and tear)
Cons:
-Zero is not easily adjusted to be very accurate
-Dot is fairly large, not good for accurate shooting at range
-You can only see the dot when it is within the upper half of the window, not the full window
-Batteries run out fast and are difficult to replace
-THE RETICLE ITSELF IS FAIRLY DIM, RENDERING IT USELESS DURING THE DAY

Cons:
its a little small but it works , the packaging could be a little better
