Description:
The Leapers 40mm Red/Green Dot Scope is an economic solution for faster target acquisition. This scope comes with an integrated thumb screw 20mm mount that will fasten it to just about any gun with a top rail. The 40mm lens diameter gives the shooter a wide range of view and allows the shooter to easily fire with both eyes open.

this product over all is very nice. the full metal frame makes it very sturdy and the flip up lens covers are nice for forgetful people like me.
Pros:
Full metal
Red/green dot
multiple brightness settings
comes with lens cleaner
comes with 2 batteries
Cons:
No retical choice
windage and altitude easy to mess up
you have to flip the lens covers down to adjust brightness
brightness adjustment hard to turn
This is a fantastic product. Great build quality, huge lens to look through. My only real grip is that standard M4 iron sights actually are taller than the red dot when it's put on a regular RIS unit. I nabbed a carry handle weaver rail and popped this up top: works like a charm, easy to acquire, and is great to use with face masks on. Another pet peeve is that the flip up covers are annoyingly flimsy and theyre really large (to be expected with a 40mm lens), so if your optics rail is too cramped, youll never get them open with a scope shield in front.
Pros:
Great build quality
Extremely bright reticule
40mm lens
Cons:
Can't be used with fixed triangle M4 sights unless you use a riser
As far as functionality; the lenses are clear and easy to see through due to their 40mm diameter. Both the red and green dots have five different settings of brightness that are easily adjustable via a turn nob at the top of the sight. (Both the red and green dots are easily seen during the day on a 3-5 setting.) The sight sits very steady on my rail system and doesn't wobble at all. Also, it has a very sturdy feeling that makes me not worry about it breaking - with the exception of the flip-down lens covers. The lens covers themselves are held onto the sight by two very small protrusions of plastic and can be broken off if you're not careful; I bumped the lens cover on a log when I was going for cover during a game and it bent the plastic lens cover to an awkward angle and then later fell off completely. However, as far as the aesthetics are concerned it didn't seem to ruin the "look" of the sight itself and I actually broke the other lens cover off so that it would match... However, with that said, I still greatly recommend this red/green dot sight to anyone who wants a well functioning red/green dot sight.
Pros:
-Both the Red and Green dots are easily seen during a bright summer day
-Large diameter on the lenses make it nice for aquiring targets easily
-Very sturdy and has a little bit of weight to it (doesn't feel like a cheap piece of plastic...)
-Doesn't wobble at all on my gun's rail
Cons:
-Lens shutters can break off easily if you bump them into a solid object
-Getting the battery cover back on can be a pain... you have to angle the lid/cover just right for it to thread correctly
