Description:
The G&G Polycarb piston head is a great upgrade that will increase the efficiency of airflow through the cylinder. This piston head has ports on the front to push out the o-ring as it moves forwards, this ensures that all of the air in the cylinder is being pushed out to propel the BB. The ball bearings help reduce tension created by the spring compressing and expanding, this combined with a ball bearing spring guide is the optimal set up to keep your spring in good shape.

G&G Polycarb Piston Head w/Bearings
Pros:
good piston head works much better then my stock one that came with my jg sr16
has good porting
Cons:
it also like any other piston head u buy needs a bigger Oring or just use the one off ur stock piston head like i did
I've been running this piston head, with a new and larger o-ring, in a set-up putting out 446 FPS, and there is no damage after roughly 4,000 rounds. This is the original piston head that came in my G&G FS-51, and I thought that I would use it until it broke under the stress of an m140, but it's definately held up well.
Pros:
-Fairly cheap.
-Holds up well under a lot of stress, but I wouldn't go over an M140 with this installed. I'm not sure how much life mine has left in it, and I'd just stick with _M130's.
-Ball bearings.
Cons:
-O-ring is undersized. That's my only complaint, and it's easily changed out.
Purchased this piston head to replace the stock plastic piston head in my AGM Scar. Great build quality and will definitely extend the life of the gearbox being made from a stronger polycarbonate material, not to mention, the included bearings will help to relieve any binding or stress from the spring. The o-ring that came with the piston head is to small and does not provide adequate compression. Went to my local hardware store and bought a slightly larger o-ring, which fixed the problem.
Pros:
- Great build quality/construction
- Increased compression over stock after replacing the o-ring with one that is slightly larger
Cons:
- Needed to replace the factory provided o-ring compromise I had to purchase myself from a local hardware store in order to ensure I wasn't loosing any compression.
