G&G Special Nylon Nano Co-alloy Piston for AEG
[M02J12][01431 / G-10-041]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The G&G Special Nylon Nano Co-alloy Piston is made from brand new technology that make it very light and very strong. Nylon Nano Co-alloy offers the strength of an aluminum piston but the flexibility and lightweight features of a polycarb; it's the best of both worlds. G&G has some of the best R&D in the industry, which is why they eliminated the second to last tooth on this piston, a known stress relief technique by master technicians. This piston is recommended for use with highly upgraded guns.
Please Note:
- The pistons color varies from the picture, it is now gray.
- The use of aftermarket airsoft parts is not an exact science. Some parts may require fitting even thought they were designed to fit without modification. Professional installation of upgrade parts is highly recommended.
- Specifications

I received this alon with a few other upgrades (Systema Cylinder Set)
After many hours of troubleshooting I finally figured that this piston did not want to move in the gearbox, it actually was VERY tight.
Solution: I took some sandpaper and a dremel and made the rails on the piston lower and widened them a bit.
I have a CA Reinforced Ver. 2 Gearbox.
This was definitely quite irritating, because after 3 hours I thought it was my shim job, nope that was flawless; it was the piston!
Now I'm sure this is an isolated incidient, and having to modify it wasn't that big of a deal.
For newer players trying to install this in their gearbox they might have some troubles if they run into the problem I did.
I'm giving this piston a 4/5 because the quality and strength of this piston is superb, but the little annoyance of not being able to plug and play sets it back 1 star.
Pros:
- Strong
- Increases RoF
- Less damaging to the GB than an alluminum piston
- Light in weight
Cons:
- Pretty expensive
- Had to modify the piston to make it work
I have used this monster of a piston in both high speed and high fps setups and it performs well in any situation. It is extremely strong and light and will not break or strip. I highly recommend this piston for pretty much anything.
Pros:
Strong enough to dull a file
Light
Has had the second to last tooth pre-removed
Cons:
A little bit pricey, but worth the money
Looks promising, very solid construction. I will note, however, the second to last tooth was still there, and not missing as pictured.
Pros:
Very strong
Cons:
- Pricey
- second to last tooth wasn't shaved
