Tenergy Universal Smart Charger is a step up from the standard wall charger; having the ability to charge from 7.2 to 12 volt NICD and NIMH battery packs. This charger is designed to automatically detects when your battery has been fully charged and tells you when to unplug it. Also, you have the choice between two charging speeds. It is a great deal and a must for larger battery packs.

Is this charger capable of discharging Ni-Cd batteries?
The description says it can charge Ni-Cd batteries, but I know that Ni-Cd batteries must be discharged after every use so I am inquiring on whether or not this charger can discharge Ni-Cd batteries.
