Cyma has really stepped up their game with the new CM049SD Full Metal blowback MK5. This gun is astounding, the plastic lower receiver and hand guard are extremely solid. The metal upper receiver and barrel assembly are very well made. The barrel extension and retractable stock give theh CM049SD a special operations look that's cool and balanced. The selector modes are colored properly and the selector switch has just the right amount of resistance and clicks into place decisively. Cyma has done away with their cheap materials and poor built practices and substituted them with quality craftsmanship and quality parts.

This was my first serious airsoft gun, and I must say, it is a great gun. I have yet to test it in a game exceeding four hours, but so far it has performed really well. My only major problem is the battery life. For longer games I may just bring a bunch of extra batteries.
It's quite accurate and has a decent range (though not the best) and has an awesome rate of fire when fully charged. If you're conservative with ammo like I am, the lower capacity magazine isn't a problem, though I reccommend getting a funnel for filling the mag. The loading hatch thing is pretty tiny.
All in all, great gun with a few minor problems. I would give it 4 1/2 stars, but there is no 1/2 option.

Cons:
-HUGE orange tip. It was too hard to pry off, so I just covered it with tan camo tape
-The stock is a bit wobbly
-Loud (can be a pro)
-It's a power hog, It eats up the battery pretty quickly
-Not much room for the battery. It can be difficult to close the battery compartmet.
-The barrel grip can get pretty painful after a few hours. I reccommend a padded glove on that hand.
-No rails
