The JG AK-47 RIS is a great replica of the famous assault rifle that is in use by the Russian military as well as many other military organizations all over the world. This rifle is sturdily constructed with a metal barrel assembly, metal receiver cover, rail interface system, ergo pistol grip and metal trigger assembly. Also, it comes with a new generation metal gearbox. All these features and the foldable grip, the AK sling, and the 8.4v battery make this package the best AK-47 on the market.

This gun is amazing! there is almost nothing to complain about, there is a very easy to replace barrel and spring and it is very simple to put on a mock suppressor or flash hider. i cannot urge you to buy this gun enough!

non adjustable stock
ris is too far up the top of gun to use optics with ease
not as heavy as i would like it(but i love heavy guns, so that is my opinion)

I ordered this gun as my first AK, (I do prefer it over my M4 and G36 suprisingly) And it' great! The packaging isn't the greatest, and the sling is pretty crappy, but it is extremely accurate and has a very good FPS for long range battles! It could probably reach around 250 feet in distance with a red dot if you are a good shot. The body is metal where it needs to be, but the material on the stock seems quite low quality unfortunately. But this gun is great for the price, and I would recommend it to most players, mostly starters, (this should be the second AEG you buy in my opinion, an M4 should come first)

Is the gun lipo ready?
I would feel at ease if I knew the gun could support lipo batteries without any damage to the internals. I have a couple guns already and none of which can use lipo a without tearing up the gun.
