Elite Force Avalon VR16 Saber M4 CQB M-LOK AEG Airsoft Rifle by VFC (Black)
[P08B00][30495 / HK-2273300 / 2273300]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Description:
One glance at any VFC airsoft product, and you can tell that the replica oozes with quality, and their new VFC Avalons are no different from the rest. The VFC Avalon rifle is one of many amazing rifles that VFC has introduced to their product line. Externally, these guns feature a top monolithic rail, giving you lots of rail real estate for optics, lasers, and other accessories. The gun also features a M-LOK style handguard, making the gun much more lightweight when compared to a rifle with a full rail system, but still having options for necessary attachments whether they're mounted to the front, or attached on via the M-LOK system. The receiver is engraved, and for the extra flash factor, the trigger is flat, and shaped like a lightning bolt. Other features include an aggressive amplified flash hider, an ambidextrous safety selector, a functioning bolt catch, flip up rear and front sights, and their new QRS stock for easy adjustments and ease of access into the battery compartment.

What a gun! This is by far the best gun I have ever owned.
Pros:
Cons:
Awesome gun, with 32 im getting around 230ish feet
Pros:
Shoots far
Light weight
VFC Build quality so everything feels great.
Works great on 11.1
Cons:
Orange tip is kinda big and obnoxious.
I circle back and pay this gun the respect it deserves from the shop I was convinced to buy it at. It was a damn fine choice.
I didn't like the looks of it very much when I saw it, the bronze didn't really catch me and the dumb looking door leveler on the front was definitely an eyesore (and still is I don't like it even not orange and removable). And had I of known there were quite a few varients in this Avalon line I probably would have chosen any other one besides the Saber CQB.
But I got it and everything changed when I started playing with it and just firing it at home long distance targeting. This this is a beast and even with the shorter barrel and stock hop-up it out performed every gun I own no matter what class, barrel length, upgrade path, etc. It literally came stock as perfect as it could have been (most guns really do actually) and I went and started upgrading and ruining things then fixing them for the better and breaking them again like a tyrant upper manager beratting a single employee who actually is the most loyal and hardworking one you have. This gun is the union employee. Not the teamster who stales the union and stunts progress while being surly and lazy, but the dedicated union worker that advances it's career through hardwork and dedication to the craft. That's how I've felt about this gun in my workforce of rifles.
I've since then completely dismembered the gun and used all its parts in other projects, but made sure that if I ever wanted to rebuild it stock I could... like some sadistic father clinging onto the memory of a child long gone knowing he can get them to come home whenever he wants through leverage. Dirty ass leverage.
The QRS outfitting on the gun is great. I love the grip and the trigger guard finger rest. I think its really creative and I use it constantly and search for it on every gun I shoulder like a baffoon. The stock looks awesome I think and although a little wobbly and lacking cool rubber molding and Dr. Scholl's gel additions, I find myself cycling it around my ARs happily. Oh and the QRS mags are great too! Honestly for midcaps I think they are some of the best for high speed feeding. I have like 8 of them and they all haven't skipped a beat and they look pretty unique and feel nice in the ol' grabassers.
The gearbox I think is where they nailed the entire thing. VFC gets a bad rap from a lot of angles for their internals being garbage but their externals are WORLD CLASS. I'm not saying anything about the subject because I probably haven't experienced the complete mechanical social economic meltdown of a VFC rifle yet. To me they've all be fantastic, and I own a lot of pistols they OEM'd and they all are some of my literal "trench shovel" guns and they just keep going. So the Avalon gearbox I think might be my favorite part of this gun because as it comes it just feels like the right parts were put in, not because they are the best parts you can buy, but because they work together to make the gun kick ass. I haven't touched the inside besides shimming and greasing her up and it's handled all the other various upgrades outside gearbox just fine in several guns it's lived in. Great gearbox, I'm tempted to buy one to really upgrade it and see what it can do.
And the glaring negative I'm pretty sure everyone can agree on from the first moment the gun materializes into our vision and imprints itself in our soft, disgusting brains... the entire brass section of the band: the flash hider/trumpet amplifier. It's just horrible when orange. The ENTIRE thing. I took the handguard off and blowtorched the front of the outer barrel with no remorse to remove it. I don't even think I could burn the orange off with MAP gas... Like the thing was glowing bright white and the orange paint only got brighter. I eventually sanded it over a 12 week period and it underwent 30 some coats of various black spray paints in between violent hate sanding. Now it actually is somewhat ok looking on some guns with recessed barrels and it does give a nice thump to the sound of an AEG. On GBBRs its much loader and fun to turn some heads even more. I find myself mostly using it on pistols that are strong enough to cycle with it on. It's hella tactical and people compliment me on it very often for both it's objective teamplay uses (morale boosting?) and it's gunmetal matte grey with orange speckles paint job.
Pros:
- It rips with 11.1lipos perfectly
- insane range & grouping for a VFC CQB SBR AEG
-QRS furniture is slick and the finger rest is addictive and promotes SAFETY!
-Avalon gearbox (I don't know what version is in this gun. Ver. 2?) is a real contender with the other high-end gearboxes whatever and whomever they may be. I guess most compared to Krytec and their Aphrodite gearbox.
-The pro to end all pros! Functioning bolt releaseeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOMGWTFUUUUUUUUU
-Just an all around joy to use, and sexy from toe to mouth stopping at nose because its nose is busted.
Cons:
-Worst looking, worst to remove, worst colored, kid who has a mustache in 2nd grade; ampflashdonger.

Silencer/Suppressor?
Is there any way to attach a suppressor or silencer to this gun, or is there a special one that is made just for this gun?

We recommend using a 7.4v LiPO stick type battery, such as: https://www.airsoftgi.com/product/I-Power-7-4v-1100mAh-2s-20c-LiPO-Stick-Battery-34609/ 2406 days ago 0
